Verifying Parts

Check that you have the tools needed for the assembly of the
saw, as shown in Fig. 5.

Tools Needed For Assembly

Combination Square
Draw line.

Checking Combination Square

Check that the combination square is true.
1. Position the square and draw a light line as shown in Fig.
6.
2. Flip the square as shown in Fig. 6.
3. Check the edge of the flipped square against the drawn
line, and make sure there is no gap or overlap at the bot-
tom end as shown in Fig. 6.
No gap or overlap.
