6.Press START switch. The switch will light up to show that
the coffee-maker is on. The coffeemaker
will shut off automatically and the light
will go off when the brew cycle is com-
pleted. When brewing ground coffee
wait three minutes before removing
cup to capture all brewed coffee.
7.Using the raised tab on the holder, lift the holder out of the
coffeemaker and dispose of the
coffee or tea.
NOTE: For best results, allow the coffeemaker to cool for
one minute between brewing cycles.
wCAUTION
Burn Hazard
• Do not use more than 10 oz. (300 ml) of water.
• Fully insert cup under the cup rest area.
• Do not remove cup until light goes off.
Overflowing coffee and hot water are a burn hazard.

TO CLEAN THE INSIDE OF THE COFFEEMAKER:
To prolong the life of your coffeemaker, monthly cleaning
is recommended. In areas with hard water more frequent
cleaning is necessary.
1. Pour
1
cup (125 ml) of plain white vinegar and
2
(125 ml) of cold water into reservoir. Place cup on Cup
Rest under pod holder.
2. Press START and allow the solution to brew through until
unit shuts off automatically.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 using a new solution of vinegar and
cold water.
4. Empty cup and rinse. Pour one cup of cold tap water into
the reservoir. Place cup under holder.
5. Press START. When the brew cycle is finished, empty the
cup. Repeat this process with one more cup of cold tap
water.
6. If necessary, repeat Step 5 to remove any remaining
vinegar taste.
7. Wash cup and all attachments before making a beverage.
TO CLEAN THE OUTSIDE OF COFFEEMAKER:
1. Unplug coffeemaker and allow to cool before cleaning.
2. Occasionally wipe the water spreader area, above the pod
holder, with a clean, damp cloth to remove oils and
residues resulting from brewing coffee.
3. To clean all other outside surfaces of the coffeemaker use
a clean, damp cloth.
4. Wash removable pod holder, pod holder attachment, mea-
suring cup, permanent coffee filter and permanent coffee
filter holder in hot, soapy water or on the top rack of a
dishwasher.
