Dialing Through Two Gateways to a Remote LAN Endpoint
To dial through a second gateway to an H.323 endpoint on a remote LAN, if the following
conditions apply:

You are making a BRI call,
and
!
The default bandwidth of the calling VIU-323 and the receiving unit is 2x64 Kbps
then you don't have to change the bandwidth, but you must dial:
!
The gateway's service prefix, followed by
!
The remote gateway's phone number; then
!
When prompted by an IVR message (for example), dial the extension of the remote
endpoint followed by a hash mark.
Example
80 7654321 (IVR prompt) 6666 #
Where 80 is the gateway service prefix, 7654321 is the phone number of the second
gateway, and 6666 is the extension of the remote unit, and the hash mark signifies to the
IVR that dialing is complete.
