You can also specify a time period to stop automatic printing of faxes or reports during that time. Select
Print Inhibit Time from Print Settings, and then specify the time period by entering the start and end
time.

Receiving faxes manually

If your phone is connected to the product, and Auto Answer mode has been set to Off, you can receive fax data after the
connection is made.

Load A4-size plain paper in the cassette.

When the telephone rings, lift the phone connected to the product.

When you hear a fax tone, select Receive.

Press x to receive the fax, and then put the phone back on the hook.
Note:
By using the Remote Receive function, you can start transmitting faxes using your phone instead of selecting the
menu on the product.
Enable Remote Receive (Setup > Fax Settings > Receive Settings > Remote Receive), and then enter a Start Code.
This is useful if you have a cordless handset. You can start receiving a fax just by entering the code using the handset.
E
Press x to print the fax if you have made settings to print received faxes.

Viewing received faxes on the LCD screen

To save received faxes in the product's memory and view them on the LCD screen, you need to enable the Save to
Inbox setting.

Follow the steps below to view the received faxes.

Important:
Faxes saved in the product's memory are not deleted until you delete them. Delete faxes after you print or view them to
prevent the memory from becoming full. When the memory is full, the product cannot receive or send faxes.
