Before first Use

Remove the gasoline chain saw and all accessories out of the packing
and check all parts for damage in transit. Keep packaging materials out
of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!

Intended Use

The gasoline chain saw is designed for cutting exclusively branches,
logs, squared lumber etc. up to a diameter of 430 mm. It is only allowed
to cut wooden material. The chain saw is not designed for trimming
bushes.

Mounting the Bumper Spike

1. Mount the bumper spike (16) with the included
screws, as shown in the figure on the right.
2. Do not operate the chain saw without the
bumper spike.
With the bumper spike the engine block can be
fixed to the wood while sawing. This makes
uncontrolled deflection of the chainsaw more
difficult. In addition, the bumper spike can be
used for applying pressure on the saw chain during cutting.
Assembling the Guide Bar and the Saw Chain
Always use gloves when handling the saw chain.
Pay attention to the correct moving direction of the
saw chain. On the housing of the machine will find
and icon with chain links.
1. Pull the front hand guard (4) in direction to the
front handle (5), so the kickback brake is not activated.
2. If not already done, loosen both nuts (17) of the clutch cover (18)
and remove it.
