Unusual sounds
-
Check that the product's legs are correctly set, and that it is
stable.

Check whether the product is touching the wall.

Check that all removable parts (boxes, shelves, etc.) are in
their correct place.

Check whether bottles or containers placed in the product
are touching.
The freezer does not generate enough cold
-
Check that the temperature is set as shown in the section
"Setting the temperature".

If a large amount of food has just been placed in the freezer,
make sure the temperature is adjusted as shown in section
"Setting the temperature".

Do not open the freezer door too often or leave it open.
Warnings for disposal
Refrigerant and cyclopentane foaming material used for
-
the refrigerator are flammable. 8 Therefore, when the
refrigerator is scrapped, it shall be kept away from any
fire source and be recovered by a special recovering
company with corresponding qualification other than be
disposed by combustion, so as to prevent damage to the
environment or any other harm.
When the refrigerator is scrapped, disassemble the
-
doors, and remove gasket of door and shelves; put the
doors and shelves in a proper place, so as to prevent
trapping of any child.
The freezer does not generate any cold at all

Check that the electronic card is powered on.

Check that the product is connected to the mains.

Check whether the mains circuit breaker is not tripped, the
fuse has blown or become loose.
There is a build-up of frost inside the product

Do not open the freezer door too often or leave it open.
The outer sides are warm

This is perfectly normal and prevents misting on the outside
of the product.
Water droplets appear on the outside of the product

If the heating has not been turned on (e.g. in spring and
autumn) and the air in the room is slightly damp, some
condensation may form on the outside of the product. This
is not dangerous, and the product will continue to function
properly.
There are small amounts of water or frost on the back wall
of the product

This is normal, as this is a particularly cold and damp part of
the product, where drops of water and frost condense under
the product's normal operation.
Certain foods do not freeze completely

It is normal for foods containing a lot of sugar, fat or alcohol
not to freeze completely and remain soft in part (ice cream,
juice, etc.).
Frozen meat has white streaks

Check that the temperature is set correctly and not too low
(see section "Setting the temperature").

Check that the meat has not been stored too long in the
freezer; refer to the form "Notes on freezing foods".
It is difficult to open the door
- It is normal for the door to be a little difficult to open, espe-
cially if it has just been closed: a slight negative pressure is
created to ensure that the door is completely sealed. Wait a
few minutes before opening it again.
The light in the product is turned off
-
Check that the product is connected to the mains.

Check whether the mains circuit breaker is not tripped, the
fuse has blown or become loose.

Check whether the bulb is broken, and refer to the section
"Changing the bulb".

If the temperature control lights (-18 °C, -22 °C, -26 °C) and
"On" are flashing, this means that the temperature sensor is
defective. Call for service.

This symbol shows that the temperature inside the freezer is
too high. Set the thermostat to a colder temperature or fast
freezing.
Any repair to the product must be carried out:

either by your dealer,
-
or by a qualified professional who is suitably qualified to
work on this brand.
