Step 2. Put a pair of tweezers in the gap between the screen and the left hinge cover (2). Pry the left hinge
cover up and then remove it (3).

Remove the C cover LCD panel

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.

Step 1. Use a pair of tweezers to take the tab of the left removable tape out of the compartment (1). Hold
the tab firmly between your thumb and forefinger and pull the tape steadily outwards until it is
completely removed (2).
Note: Once the removable tape is removed, it cannot be reused. Refer to "Removable tape as a
FRU" on page 26 for choosing the correct removable tape when assembling the compartment.
