7.2.2. Arms ball joint

Lubrication
Check the movement / stiffness of the arm joints, if these are rigid, apply adhesive grease spray.

7.2.3. Extruder fans

Check if working
Fans are present on the extruder which ensure correct cooling during operation.
Check with the machine turned on that every single fan is rotating correctly without significant abnormalities.
In case of abnormality, check for any dirt that compromises movement.
If a fan does not work, contact the Manufacturer.

7.2.4. Sliders

Check plays
Check that the arm sliders do not have any play between them and the sliding aisle, if it is present, contact the
Manufacturer

7.2.5. VACS (Vacuum Active Control System)

Cleaning
Cleaning the vacuum plate of the vacuum sealing system is important to get the right functioning of the VACS.
You can do so by using a vacuum or manually removing any dirt and debris on the plate.
Checking integrity
The integrity of the gasket and the removable surface are necessary to get the right functioning of the VACS.
In case the integrity of one of the components is compromised replace it with a brand new.

7.2.6. Nozzle

ATTENTION:
Pay particular attention during the various stages of the procedures, it is essential to wear gauntlets
because there is a risk of burns.
Changing the nozzle is necessary when:
the nozzle is clogged
another dimension of the nozzle is needed
To change the nozzle follow the procedure below:
1. Preheat the Nozzle to 200°C.
2. Using a 12 mm Hex wrench unscrew delicately the nozzle.
Make sure the nozzle housing is not rotating with the nozzle. A 26 mm wrench can be used to hold it in place
3. Remove it helping yourself with some pliers.
4. Pay maximum attention to the molten plastic that can cause burns.
