7.2 Setting up the device via the
setup wizard
It is recommended to use the setup wizard for
setting up the device (date, time and network
settings) . It is quick and easy .
Note: Any settings that can be made via the setup
wizard can also be made via the corresponding menu
items of the menu „System settings" (chapter 7 .3) .
1) On the start screen of the setup wizard
(fig . 5), is selected . To start the setup

wizard, press the knob CONTROL SELECT to
confirm the setting
2) The time format menu will appear:

The 24-hour format is set for the time
(marked with an asterisk
12-hour format, turn the knob CONTROL
SELECT to select this format . Press the knob
to confirm the format selected .
3) The time update menu will appear:

Update from DAB
Update from FM
Update from Network

asterisk (automatic time update via the

Internet) . The other options are: automatic
time update via DAB station or FM station or
manual time setting (
Note: The time will only be updated automatically
when a corresponding station is received . There-
fore, a setting should be selected that corresponds
to the operating mode most frequently used: For
example, if you mostly listen to DAB radio, select

Confirm the current setting or select a differ-
ent setting and confirm . Depending on the
setting, the next menu will appear:
