4 Operation

1) Connect the receiver to the subsequent audio
unit, e g mixer or amplifier Depending on the
input available at the subsequent unit, use one
of the following two outputs:
– XLR output (10):
balanced output for connection to a micro-
phone input (in this case, activate the 20 dB
attenuation:
for units with line signal level
– 6 3 mm output jack (9):
unbalanced output for connection to an
input for units with line signal level
2) For power supply, connect the power supply
unit provided to the power supply jack (12)
and to a mains socket (230 V / 50 Hz) The re-
ceiver is provided with a strain relief (11): Lead
the cable around the hook at the bottom of
the housing to prevent accidental disconnec-
tion of the power supply unit from the receiver
Note: The power supply unit will still consume some
power when the receiver has been switched off
Therefore, always disconnect the power supply unit
from the mains socket if the receiver is not operated
for a longer period of time
3) Place the antennas (8) in a vertical position
4) Use the rocker switch (7) to switch on the re-

same group The number of channels that can be
used in parallel depends on the conditions at the
place of application (e g on interference due to
transmitters of other wireless systems or high-fre-
quency sources such as fluorescent lamps) The

scan function (
