Filling the Clean Water Tank

Note: Only use CrossWave formulas in your machine. Other formulas or household cleaners may
harm the machine. Do not use hard floor formula on area rugs or carpet.

The clean water tank is
located on the back of the
machine. To remove, grasp the
tank and pull up.

The clean water tank has two measuring volumes depending
on the amount of space you would like to clean.
For large area cleaning (up to 700 sq ft)
a. Fill formula tank with warm tap water to the second water fill
line (24 fl. oz.).
b. Then add formula to the second formula fill line (4 fl. oz.).
For small area cleaning (<350 sq ft)
a. Fill formula tank with warm tap water to the first water fill
line (12 fl. oz.).
b. Then add formula to the first formula fill line (2 fl. oz.).
*Compatible BISSELL formulas include: Multi-Surface, Wood Floor, Area Rug, PET Multi-Surface with Febreze Freshness, Hard Floor Sanitize, Simply Multi-Surface

Unscrew the cap from the
bottom of the tank.

Screw the cap back on,
align clean water tank with
the grooves on the back of the
machine and slide it until it
clicks into place.
