ERG2 SHURE STAKE

Die Set Installation

1. Remove die screws from frame with screwdriver.
2. Insert die set into frame so that larger wire size nests
are closer to the main axle of the frame. The die
screw holes in the die set should align with the die
screw holes in the frame.
3. Install die screws, close handles and tighten screws
with a screwdriver. Make sure the dies are properly
aligned.

MECHANISM must be released, please see Figure 4.

DO NOT CRIMP ON HOT ENERGIZED WIRES.

1. Open handles fully.
2. Position ferrule and wire subassembly into proper
nest.
3. Close handles until the SHURE STAKE® mechanism
cycle has been completed.
