3. Only change the rotating direction, if the motor has to come to complete
standstill. So you will avoid damaging the motor and protect yourself against
kickback.
4. Disconnect the impact wrench from power mains when exchanging the socket,
when not using the unit, after finished working and when applying mainte-
nance work.

Hints regarding Usage

▪ Use the impact wrench for screwing on and unscrewing of bolts and nuts. The
impact wrench creates a high maximum torque of up to 250 Nm in clockwise
rotation and 500 Nm in counter-clockwise rotation by means of pulse ("beat-
en") rotational movements.
▪ When screwing in bolts and screws, first turn them on the thread by hand for a
few turns, so that inadvertent tilting is prevented.
▪ Always start working with low revolutions. Make sure not to over tighten the
bolts and nuts!
▪ For tightening set the impact wrench to a torque at least 10 Nm under the
prescribed value. Use a suitable torque spanner to tighten the screws. The
impact wrench can not replace the torque spanner. After driving for about 50
km check, whether the bolts have to be re-tightened.
▪ Please note that oil, dirt, rust corrosion or other foreign particles on the threads
or under the head of the fasteners will affect the tightness.

Maintenance and Care

▪ If necessary, clean the impact wrench and the accessory with a moist cloth.
▪ Do not use abrasive or aggressive chemicals as benzene or thinner for
cleaning.
▪ Do not allow liquids to enter the tool and never immerse it into liquids.

Storing

▪ After use put the clean impact wrench and the accessory into the transport box
into the intended slots.
▪ Store all parts of the set in a dry place that is protected from dust, dirt and
extreme temperatures. Store the set out of reach of children.
