1. The system starts to count down from 5 seconds and then
shows the test result.
2. Push the Strip Ejector to remove the test strip.
3. Throw it away after you have compared the reading to the
range printed on the test strip bottle.
Note: To avoid infections, never let anyone else use your lancing
device and lancets. Sterile lancets are for single use only.
Please make sure to apply blood when the blood drop
appears on the display.
Do not reuse lancets.

Write down the measured result in your personal diabetic log

and take the test strip off the strip slot. The meter turns off. If
you
don't take off the test strip, the meter will turn off automatically
after 5 minutes.
In order to discard lancets from the smartLAB
remove the end cap and carefully pull the used lancet out of the
holder. Dispose the lancet according to local regulations, in order
to avoid hurting other people.
