8.2 Battery Temperature Sensor:
As an option, the unit provides a port to connect the external battery temperature sensor. If it is used, the
unit will optimise the charging performance subjected to the battery temperature

ambient temperature limit
The surrounding temperature
around the temperature
sensor is too high
Solar input voltage has
exceeded the controller's max-
imum rating
Solar input cables are
connected in reverse
Battery output cables are
connected in reverse
Quick Troubleshoot
Check whether there is an external voltage applied
to the battery
Ensure the controller is placed
in a well-ventilated area.
Check the sensor is not near a hot source.
Battery may be faulty if it is too hot
Lower the solar panel's total voltage connected
to the controller
Disconnect and reconnect with the correct polarity
Disconnect and re-connect with
correct wire polarity
