4.6 Disabling SNMP via data record

If you use the program block "T_CONFIG" together with the "SDT CONF_DATA" for assigning
the parameters of NTP servers, you can use four additional NTP servers.
Configuration
For information on configuration, refer to the STEP 7 online help of the "Time-of-day
synchronization" parameter group.
• Accept time of day from non-synchronized NTP servers
The parameter has the following effect:
– If the option is enabled, the CM also accepts the time-of-day from non-synchronized
– If the option is disabled, the response is as follows: If the CM receives a time-of-day

Disabling SNMP via user program
As of firmware version V4.0 of the CM, you can disable enabled SNMP functions in the CM via
the user program.
To do this, use the block WRREC.
Disabling SNMP with WRREC
Create a data block with the following structure of the data record 0xB071 and transfer the
data record to the CM using WRREC. In WRREC, you use the CM interface as the hardware
identifier.
