    Normal use 2 Normal use 2.1 Intended use Micromanipulator interfaces are intended to attach laser micromanipulators to VITOM 3D exoscopes during microsurgical, open and endoscopic procedures. Micromanipulator interfaces do not have body contact. 2.2 Indications Indications for the micromanipulator interfaces result from the use of VITOM exoscope.

    Products that come into contact with the central nervous system can become contaminated by organic residue containing prions. Prions lead to infection with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.     When changing loads, it may be necessary to support the holding arm in order to prevent uncontrolled movement. Attach the clamping mechanism of the micromanipulator interface to the sheath of the VITOM 3D and lock in place by rotating the screw. The dovetail connection adaptor of the microscope model being used and the micromanipulator can now be mounted and aligned on the adaptor base plate.
