Installation and Operation Instruction
The FlowCon S-JUST insert is used with
FlowCon AB valve housings DN15-25 (1/2"-1"):
Insert Setting and Installation
Prior to installing the FlowCon S-JUST insert
(supplied from factory in setting 1.8) in the valve
housing, the system should be properly flushed.
Blank valve covers are available to be installed
during flushing.
It is recommended to grease the O-rings located
around the S-JUST with silicone grease before
installing the insert in the valve housing.
The desired Kv is set by adjusting the insert with
a special adjustment key. Scale setting is located
on the 'neck' of the insert where the white digits
printed on black, numbered 1 to 5, indicate full
turns and the top white digits printed on the red
counter wheel, numbered 0 to 9, indicate 1/10
of full turn.
Kv setting may be done either before or after
the insert is installed in the valve housing and
based on measured differential pressure on the
p/t plugs and Kv setting, flow is calculated:
