Installationshinweis
Jeder Einsatz des Pumpenadapters setzt die genaue Kenntnis und Beachtung der
Gebrauchsanweisung Dräger Polytron 7000 voraus!
Verwendungszweck
– Der Pumpenadapter dient zur Aufnahme der Ansaugleitung und bestimmt die
Gasflussrichtung zwischen Pumpe und Sensor.
Sensor und Pumpenadapter installieren
Bajonett-Ring vom Transmitter abschrauben und Blindscheibe entfernen.
1 Sensor in die Öffnung stecken, Dräger-Schriftzug am Sensor nach vorne, und mit
leichtem Druck nach oben schieben.
2 Befestigungsring über die Sensoröffnung aufsetzen.
3 Sensor mit Bajonett-Ring sichern.
Die Montagerichtung des Pumpenadapters bestimmt die Gasflussrichtung zwischen
Pumpe und Sensor:
– Tüllen für Zu- und Abluft zeigen nach links, + +
liegt im Gasfluss vor dem Sensor; der Sensor liegt auf der Überdruckseite der Pumpe.
Dies ist die bevorzugte Betriebsart für alle Sensoren.
– Tüllen für Zu- und Abluft zeigen nach rechts,
Pumpe liegt im Gasfluss hinter dem Sensor; der Sensor liegt auf der Unterdruckseite der
Pumpe. Diese Betriebsart sollte nur in begründeten Fällen gewählt werden.
HINWEIS
Für die Sensoren DrägerSensor O2 LS (6809630) und DrägerSensor O2 (6809720) ist
diese Betriebsart nicht zulässig!
4 Stutzen des Pumpenadapters in die Bohrungen an der Unterseite der Docking Station
einführen bis die Dichtung an den Anschlag des Sensors gleitet.
5 Befestigungsring im Uhrzeigersinn drehen bis der Pumpenadapter gesichert ist.
Hinweis für die Installation der Ansaugleitung
Die Wahl des Materials des Ansaugschlauches/Ansaugrohres und die Länge der
Ansaugstrecke beeinflusst die Ansprechzeit des Messsignals. Durch eine Reaktion bzw.
Adsorbtion mit dem verwendeten Material, erreicht im ungünstigsten Fall keine messbare
Gaskonzentration mehr den Sensor.
– Geeignete Schlauchmaterialien sind Viton (Bestell-Nr.1203150) oder PTFE.
– Maximal zulässige Druckdifferenz zwischen Ansaugstelle und Umgebung des
Transmitters: 50 mbar.
– Eine Druckdifferenz zwischen Ansaugstelle und Umgebung des Transmitters kann zu
einem zusätzlichen Messfehler führen.
HINWEIS
Zur Prüfung auf Leckagen im Ansaugweg empfehlen wir vor der Inbetriebnahme, und
danach alle 6 Monate, eine Flowkontrolle an der Ansaugstelle und hinter dem Transmitter
vorzunehmen.
VORSICHT
Nicht den Gasein- oder Gasaustritt des Pumpenadapters dichtsetzen da der Sensor
Schaden nehmen kann.
Alternativanschluss für Einschraubanschluss (6)
1/8-Schlauchanschluss lösen
Einen der folgenden Einschraubanschlüsse einschrauben:
–Gerader Einschraubanschluss, 6 mm R 1/8, LEGRIS SAS, www.legris.com, 31750610.

Installation Instructions
Any use of the device requires full understanding and strict observation of the

Intended Use
– The pump adapter is intended for connecting the inlet line and determines the gas flow
Installing the sensor and pump adapter
1 Place the sensor in the opening with the Dräger logo facing the front, and push upwards

2 Place the fastening ring over the sensor opening.
3 Secure the sensor with the bayonet ring.

The assembly direction of the pump adapter is determined by the gas flow direction
between pump and sensor:

– Connectors for intake and exhaust air point to the left, the

4 Insert the pump adapter connector into the holes on the underside of the docking station
5 Turn the securing ring clockwise until the pump adapter is secure.
Notes on installation of the inlet line
The material selected for the inlet hose or inlet pipe and the length of the inlet line will affect
5 the reaction time of the measured signal. In the worst cases, reactions with the selected
material, or absorption in this material, will prevent a measurable gas concentration from
reaching the sensor.

In order to check for leaks, we recommend that you measure the flow at the inlet point
and behind the transmitter before using the pump module for the first time and every six
months thereafter.
CAUTION
Do not seal the gas inlet or gas outlet of the pump adapter as the sensor could be
damaged as a result.

Screw in one of the following male studs:
