    H.265 and H.264 video in HD resolutions. The Input board features flexible digital and analog input ports. The encoder can be configured to stream over IP and simultaneously record to USB or micro SD card. The FV2K-1XA is available with either software preloaded or with an optional SDK starter kit.

    If you have received an FV2K-1XA assembly, you will need to connect it to the Sony FCB-EV7520A camera block or a compatible LVDS camera. The Interface Front End PCB of the FV2K-1XA assembly (see Fig 4) has a 30-pin KEL connector that allows a flexible ribbon cable to be used to connect the encoder assembly to an identical connector on the Sony FCB-EV7520.

    Note: The FV2K-1XA is set to DHCP by default. If no DHCP server is available on the network, a static IP address of 192.168.0.120 and a netmask of 255.255.0.0 will be assigned. The IP address can be manually entered as the URL in a browser window to access the user interface.

    In general, streaming using RTP/RTSP will result in lower latency than streaming using TS. When streaming UDP or TSRTP, the FV2K-1XA supports a low latency mode called TS Lowlat Mode. When enabled, TS Lowlat Mode sends the transport stream packets as soon as possible, instead of pacing them out evenly.

Each output stream can be set using a separate channel tab. If the CH2 tab is not present, you can create a second channel by clicking on the tab.

    6.12 Record Snapshot FV2K-1XA supports taking a snapshot while streaming video By default, the snapshot will be at the native FV2K-1XA camera resolution with an option to change the size of image. There are two ways to record a snapshot: Using Camera Tab (see section 7.2)

    Figure 48 Color Controls 7.6 Sony VISCA Camera Control The FV2K-1XA leverages Sony camera technology. Remote control of the camera video input is supported by Sony’s VISCA™ protocol. If Sony’s User Control Interface is desired, VISCA commands can be sent from a remote PC using the same IP connection that carries the video.

    8.0 PERFORMING OTHER OPERATIONS WITH THE FV2K-1XA 8.1 Save Current Settings If you have a specific configuration you’d like to preserve, you can save it so that when the FV2K-1XA is powered off and back on, it automatically boots to those settings.

    8.3 Channel 2 PIP on Channel 1 The FV2K-1XA allows for the Picture in Picture (PIP) of channel 2 to be placed on the channel 1 stream. A common case is to have a PIP of the IR camera on the stream for the visible video.
  • Page 61 The PIP stream needs to be set to a resolution that is smaller than the resolution of Channel 1.     This is currently unsupported but is coming soon in new features of the FV2K-1XA. The FV2K-1XA allows for the encoding of a Region of Interest (ROI) in the captured video. This allows the encode of only the region of the video you are interested in.

    Figure 64 CH1 Tab Overlay Timestamp 8.6 Set a Static IP Address The FV2K-1XA supports DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). This is enabled by default, allowing the camera to dynamically receive an IP address at startup. The IP address that is assigned can be seen through using ZFinder.

    (10) Run the ZFinder PC Utility on your Windows PC. The ZFinder window appears. ZFinder does a scan of the network and lists the location of all Z3 systems connected to the network. The FV2K-1XA appears with your manually entered IP address.

SuperAmin - All operations allowed restricted to default admin user. 2. Admin - All management operations allowed with some manufacturer restrictions.

    (5) To login as the new user click the logout button in the top right of the web interface. You will be prompted to login. Login with new credentials. 8.9 Factory Reset The FV2K-1XA can be reset to its original factory settings using the pinhole reset on the right of the I/O PCB of the unit.
