Switching Assisted Driving Mode
Plus on/off

Assisted Driving Mode Plus is automatically
offered when Assisted Driving Mode is active
and all functional requirements for Assisted
Driving Mode Plus have been met.
Press the button repeatedly until As-
sisted Driving Mode Plus is selected.
Two green LED lights are illuminated on the
steering wheel.
The indicator light in the instrument cluster is
shown in green.
The system begins to assist the driver with
vehicle control.
When the system is switched on, the following
functions are enabled:
▷ Forward Collision Warning.
▷ Side collision mitigation.
▷ Adapting the speed to the route.
Displays in the instrument cluster
Icon Description
Indicator light green: system is active.
Indicator light gray: the system has
been interrupted and will activate au-
tomatically as soon as all functional
requirements are met.
White indicator light: the system can
be activated.

Depending on the equipment and national-
market version, information for the system is
displayed in the Assisted View in the central
display area of the instrument cluster.

Displays on the steering wheel
The two LEDs above the keypads illuminate
depending on the situation.
▷ Green: the system is active.
▷ Yellow: system will be interrupted.
Grab the steering wheel with your hands.
▷ Red: system will be deactivated.
Grab the steering wheel immediately with
your hands.

Displays in the Head-up display
Depending on the equipment, the system in-
formation can also be displayed in the Head-
up display.
Navigation system displays
Roads on which Assisted Driving Mode Plus
is supported for vehicle guidance can be dis-
played on the navigation system.
