    Important safeguards Using the device at temperature below -10º may cause the breakage of the device. BEFORE USING PLEASE HEAT UP THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT TO THE RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE! Read carefully through this manual to familiarize yourself with this high-quality sound system. Disconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal while mounting and connecting the unit.

    Installation/ connection Attention: REMOVE THE TRANSPORT CD STOPPER (2 SCREWS) BEFORE USE. Din front-mount (method 1) After inserting the holder into the dashboard, select the appropriate tab and bend them inwards to secure the holder in place. Insert fingers into the groove in the front of frame and remove it. Insert the levers supplied with the unit to the grooves at both sides.
  • Page 5 Din rear-mount (method 2) Installation using the screw holes at both sides of the unit. 1. Select a position where the screw holes of the main unit are fitted for aligned, and tighten the screws at 2 positions at each sides. Use either truss screws (5 x 8mm) or flush surface screws (4 x 8mm), depending on the shape of the screw holes in the bracket.

Contact your authorized car dealer before installing this unit. Using the ISO Connector 1. If your car is equipped with the ISO connector, then connect the ISO connectors as illustrated.

    Panel controls Front panel 1. TA button Shortly press it to activate the TA function. 2. POWER button Press POWER button to turn the power on, press again to turn the power off. 3. VOLUME knob/ SELECT button Rotate VOL button clockwise to increase the volume level; rotate anticlockwise to decrease the volume level.
  • Page 10 4. NEXT (+)/ PREVIOUS (-) buttons Use these buttons to search for the beginnings of the next/ previous tracks or manual seek tuning/ fast forward, backward scanning. 5. DSP button Press it to select the DSP sound mode: FLAT, CLASSIC, POP M, ROCK M, DSP OFF. 6.

    General operation Reset the unit Operating the unit for the first time or after replacing the car battery, you must reset the unit. Press OPEN button on the panel to open the panel and press the RESET hole with a point object to restore the unit to the original factory settings.
  • Page 14 Note: If turning off the power all the settings of each mode will be saved. If turning off the ACC power all the settings will become as they were set on the plant as current. If you don t use VOLUME knob within 5 seconds after selecting the desired mode, the unit will automatically return to the current mode being displayed.
  • Page 15 Retune mode To determine the initial time of automatic TA (Traffic Announcement) search. There are 2 modes: RETUNE L and RETUNE L. - RETUNE L: 90 seconds. RETUNE S: 30 seconds. Note: Retune mode is active for TA SEEK mode only. d.
  • Page 16 Mode setting Press the MODE button repeatedly to select RADIO, CDP (single disc playback) modes. If you select RADIO mode, press the BD/LD button once or more to select FM1, FM2, FM3 (OIRT), MW. Loud function Press and hold the BD/LD button for 2 seconds enter the LOUD mode. The display will show LOUD ON . When you turn the function off, the display will show LOUD OFF .

    Digital tuner Note: RDS (Radio Data System) service availability varies with areas. Please understand if RDS service is not available in you area, the following service is not available, either. Band selection Press POWER to power on, then press the MODE button once or more to select RADIO. Press BD/LD once or more to select: FM1, FM2, FM3 (OIRT), MW.
  • Page 18 During radio mode press the +/ - buttons to select upward or downward stored stations. AS/ PS function (Auto Store/ Preset Store) Preset scan: press AS/ PS button to scan all preset stations in the memories of the current band and stay on each memory stations for about 5 seconds.
  • Page 19 PTY (Program Type) function Press PTY the first time, then press the number buttons, you can select the music program style. Press PTY the second time, then press the number buttons, you can select the language program style. To choose the desired program style use the following table: Press the PTY button for the 3 time to switch the function off.
  • Page 20 TA interruption function: the current traffic announcement is cancelled by pressing the TA key. But the TA mode will not be off. Note: When TA is on, SEEK, (SCAN), AUTO MEMORY function can be received or saved only when traffic program identification code has been received.

    CD/ MP3 operations Loading a disc 1. Press OPEN button on the panel to slide down the panel. Insert the disc with the printed side facing upward into the slot. 2. Press EJECT button on the panel to eject the disc. Playing a disc When the disc has been already loaded press MODE button to select CDP mode to start playback.

Note: Use the DISP button to insert the Start entering the digit from the first number. If the number of the file is 1- or 2-digit use 0. If you enter the 1- or 2-digit number the playback will start in 2 seconds (if track with such number is recorded).

    Handling discs Dirty, scratched or warped discs may cause skip ping or noise. Handle the disc only by the edges. To keep clean do not touch its surface. Discs should be stored in their cases after use to avoid scratches. Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, high temperature or dust.
