My RUSH player fails to operate after it was disconnected during formatting. How do I
recover RUSH?
Should the formatting process be interrupted, the data memory will be corrupted. To recover RUSH,
please follow the recovery steps 1- 8 below.
1.
Restart your computer.

Remove the battery from the battery compartment of RUSH.

Hook up the player

The player enters recovery mode. On your PC task tray, click Start

An Update screen will pop up. Uncheck the Quick download box. Click Start to
recover the player.
The recovery application is now correcting your player. Please take care not to interrupt or
unplug the player from computer when the recovering is in progress.

Once the recovery process is complete, click on the Unplug or Eject Hardware removal
icon on your PC task tray. When you reach the message: The 'USB Mass Storage
device' can now be safely removed from the system, click OK.
For Windows98 users
shows the READY display, before you unplug RUSH.

Unplug and reconnect again, the player should now be able to resume operation.
To avoid this problem in fu ure, please avoid unplugging RUSH during installation and always
use a fresh battery when connecting the RUSH to your PC.
