Remove the fitting from cover plate.
3.
Install the fitting into the front of the new PTO
and position fitting as shown in
Figure 17

Remove the 5 bolts, lock washers and nut
that secure the cover plate to the transaxle
and carefully remove cover plate to prevent
damaging the O–ring seal
Note:
Retain fasteners for installation later.
Installing the PTO
1.
Install the 2 alignment pins into the holes in the
transaxle, at locations shown in figure 14.
2.
Using the mounting bolts, lock washers and nut,
that you removed from the transaxle cover plate,
mount the PTO assembly onto transaxle

Note:
When mounting the PTO assembly, make
sure that O-ring is positioned properly in groove
on transaxle. If O–ring is damaged, replace it.
3.
Remove the cap from the disconnected hydraulic
hose and install the hose to fitting on the PTO
with clamp that you previously removed.
Note:
Make sure hose and fitting are clean
before connection is made.
4.
Move the PTO lever at the center console all the
way back (towards the rear of the console) and
the PTO lever arm
to the right side (passenger side).

Adjust the cable clevis or jam nuts or both that
secure the cable to the bracket, until the clevis
