pin will drop freely through the aligned mounting
holes in the clevis and lever arm

Secure the clevis pin with the cotter pin, tighten
jam nut that secures the cable to cable clevis,
and tighten the jam nuts that secure the cable
to the bracket.
7.
Remove the jumper cable from the wire harness
located in front of PTO.
8.
Route the wire harness under the positive
battery cable and connect the connector of the
wiring harness into the PTO switch connector.

Mount the PTO shield to rear frame tube with 4
capscrews, 2 spacers, and 4 locknuts

Apply the warning decal to lower-rear cross tube
next to existing decal, just above hitch point
(Figure
21).

Using the 5 cable ties supplied in kit, secure the
PTO cable to the existing wiring.

Completing the PTO
Installation
No Parts Required
Procedure
1.
Connect the battery cables to the battery and
install the battery cover; refer to
Machine (page
2.
Test the interlock system; refer to Checking the
Interlock System in the Operator's Manual.
3.
Shut off the engine and inspect the machine for
hydraulic fluid leaks where the PTO housing
mounts onto the transaxle.
Note:
Repair all fluid leaks.
4.
Start the engine and operate the PTO.
5.
Remove the cylinder lock from the bed-lift
cylinder and stow it in the brackets at the back
of the ROPS panel; refer to
Machine (page
