- Page 4 Option 1: Automatic bridging (recommended) Peer-to-peer bridging Automatic bridging only works for CPEs in factory settings. Peer-to-peer bridging takes effect within one minute after the CPEs start. Automatic bridging could fail if three or more powered CPEs in factory settings are placed nearby. When the CPEs are powered on using Ethernet cables, CAT5e or better Ethernet cable is recommended, and the length should not exceed 50 meters.
