Connecting an external transmi�er

Note: Connec�on of transmi�ers with control panel only by DEGA protocol, not MODBUS protocol.
It is possible to connect up to max. 16 transmitters on each controller input (BUS 0, BUS 1), depending on their electrical
distance from the controller.
Wiring installation for RS485 (Dega protocol)
Wiring must be installed using bus topology and according to the RS485 principles.
Maximum number of connected transmi�ers is 8 (may be less depending on the configuration), while the total length of
the controller (electrical distance between the switchboard and the last transmi�er) should not exceed 800 m. The cross
section of the used cable in rela�on to the distance from the switchboard are provided in the manuals for the relevant
sensors.
Terminal resistor
According to the RS485 specifica�ons, the last device on the controller
must be ending with a termina�ng resistor 120 R. In the default
configura�on the jumper connector is not plugged. For each controller
there is a separate termina�on resistor located behind the terminal
block of the respective controller.
