CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1
Clean the inner liner, ice collection tray, water reservoir, ice scoop and evaporator
regularly. When cleaning, unplug the appliance and remove the ice cubes. Use a
diluted solution of water and vinegar to clean the interior and exterior surfaces of
the ice maker. Do not spray the ice maker with chemicals or diluted agents such as
acids, gasoline or oil. Dry the unit thoroughly before operating it.
2
Keep the ventilation openings in the unit housing clear of obstructions. Do not use
mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process.
3
If you use the unit again after it has been idle for a while, it may not be able to
pump up enough water. In this case, simply press the start/stop button again to
restart the ice machine.
4
To ensure the cleanliness of the ice, change the water in the water tank at least once
a day. If you do not use the machine for a long time, please drain the water and
clean the machine.
5
If the compressor does not work due to lack of water, full ice or power failure, it will
start up for 3 minutes after restarting.
6
Always use fresh water before starting ice production, either during initial
installation or after a long period of inactivity.
7
The filter screen in the water tank must be removed and cleaned regularly to prevent
debris from clogging the water inlet. Proceed as shown in the figure below. Remove
the ice collection tray, the filter cover and the filter sieve from the water tank one
after the other, clean the filter cover and the filter sieve with clean water and then
reinsert them.
