CUSTOMIZING MACHINE SETTINGS
Machine Setting Mode
Press the set mode key to enter the machine setting
mode.
You can select various options and customize the
machine settings to suit your personal preference.
q Set mode key
Press one of the 3 keys to select the mode to customize.
w Common setting mode key
Press the common setting mode key to enter the
common setting mode.
In this mode, you can customize the general machine
settings and options.
e Ordinary sewing setting mode key
Press the ordinary setting mode key to enter the ordinary
q
setting mode.
In this mode, you can customize the machine settings
and options for ordinary sewing (refer to pages 94-96 for
the operation).
r Language selection mode key
Press the language selection mode key to enter the
language selection mode. In this mode, you can select
the desired language for the screen messages.

Registering the custom settings
After customizing the settings, press the OK key to
enable the new settings.

To cancel the changes to the settings, press the X key
and the setting mode window will close.
Common Setting Mode
q Screen Contrast
You can adjust the contrast of the visual touch screen by
pressing the "+" or "–" key.
w Sound Volume
The signal sound can be adjusted by pressing the "+" or
"–" key.
Set the value to "0" by pressing the "–" key several times
q
to mute the signal sounds.
e Inch/mm Option
You can set your machine's dimensional unit to either
inches or millimeters by pressing the "inch" or "mm" icon
key.
w
The default unit is millimeters.
Press the next page key to show the next menu.
