INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
MOD-IOOT.-200T 1800W VERSIONS
THIS UNIT IS LISTED BY UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES INC.
INSTALLER MUST MEET UL CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTABILITY OUTLINED BELOW UPON INSTALLATION.
1. REQUIRED INSTALLATION CLEARANCES:
WOODEN INSTALLATION Do Not Install Closer Than 6" to front, back and side walls 6 3/4"
to a surface below the unit
METAL INSTALLATION Do Not Install Closer Than 6" to front wall I" to back and side
walls 6 3/4" to a surface below the unit
2. UNIT SHALL BE ACCESSIBLE FOR SERVICING FROM BOTTOM.
3. IF STORAGE IS TO BE USED UNDERNEATH UNIT, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT A BAFFLE BE PLACED 8 1/2"
BELOW THE UNIT TO AVOID CONTACT WITH ELEVATED TEMPERATURES.
TO FABRICATE:
1. Layout cutout dimensions on counter top and front panel as per drawing.
2. Cut holes as required in counter top and front panel.
TO INSTALL:
1. Press the self sticking "gray" gasket material to the underside of the appliance
mounting flange, about 1/4" inch from the outside edge.
Remove the paper backing as
the gasket is applied.
2. Apply a bead of DOW-CORNING Silastic #732 silicone adhesive to gasket.
3. Locate the warmer and control box over counter top cutout. Pass control box through
counter top cutout and front panel cutout.
Seat warmer onto counter top and then mount
control box into front panel cutout.
4. From underneath insert screwdriver into slots on wellslok flange and twist outward
to tighten unit down to counter top.
5. Mount control panel to control box using screws supplied.
