Scenario 2

Partial home backup with

IQ System Controller 2

This is the preferred configuration for partial home backup with PV

and IQ Batteries. The generator can be integrated with IQ System

Controller 2 based on the homeowner's needs.

The microinverter ranges supported in this configuration are IQ8,

IQ6, IQ7, M215, and M250 Series.

Note: The System Shutdown Switch is not used for IQ6, IQ7, and M Series

systems. Refer to the

System Shutdown wiring section

Additional wiring and components are required when integrating generators.
