with this appliance and shall be installed for
the protection of children and other at-risk

CAUTION! Risk of Cuts or Abrasions. Wear protective
gloves and safety glasses during installation.
NOTICE: Handle refractory panels with care. Refractory
may chip or crack if dropped or impacted.

Glass Refractory Installation Instructions -
HOT GLASS WILL
CAUSE BURNS.
UNTIL COOLED.
TO TOUCH GLASS.
PREPARATION
It will be necessary to remove the existing refractory panels
and base refractory prior to beginning installation of the new
components. See Figure 1. Once those components are
removed the fi rebox will look similar to Figure 2.
Note: On older models, it may be necessary to remove the
grate in order to remove the rear refractory.
