Preface Preface This document helps customers with data security concerns to clear or sanitize 4 Series MSO instruments without factory-installed Option 4-SEC. This series of instruments contain a processor system with non-removable mass storage. These products have data storage (memory) devices and data export interfaces (USB and Ethernet). These instructions describe how to clear or sanitize the memory devices and disable the data output interfaces.
