INTERRUPT HEADER

The USART in each I/O port generates four
flags which, under software and hardware
control, can generate an interrupt signal. The
selected flags are ORed together within each
I/O port. These four signals, one from each
I/O port, are brought to the Interrupt Header.
The Interrupt Header can be wired to connect
the interrupt signals to any of the S-100 bus
interrupt lines. More than one I/O port
interrupt signal may be connected to one S-100
bus interrupt line. As supplied, all four
port interrupt signals are connected to the
S-100 bus interrupt VI2.
