To configure an individual port for
synchronous operation at a single fixed baud
rate of 55.8KHZ, make the following changes:
Please Note:
configured for synchronous operation, it must
also be configured to simulate either a modem
or a terminal. To determine whether your
particular application requires the MODEM or
TERMINAL configuration, consult Section 3.1.1.
