TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Power does not turn on
The camera does not take
pictures
Image is not recorded
when the shutter button is

The flash doesn't fire

Solution
Reload battery in the correct
direction.
Replace or recharge batteries
Make sure the battery compartment
door is securely closed.
Wait for the flash to charge.
Insert a new SD card
The card may be defective, use a
new card.
Turn "File No. Reset" on, then
format the card or insert a new
card.
Wait for the flash to charge.
Insert an new SD card.
Set the flash to any mode except
off.
Hold the camera steady when
shooting picture.
Turn the Macro mode on if the
subject is within 10 cm (zoomed
out) or 50 cm (zoom in) / don't use
Macro mode when shooting distant
subjects.
This camera cannot display non-
DCIF images.
If the Battery Low indicator appears
on the LCD monitor, replace the
battery immediately.
Install the USB driver before you
connect the camera to a computer
/ turn the camera on.
