Trouble or fault
The combihammer
switches itself off
automatically.
The combihammer
or the battery gets
very hot.
The insert tool can't
be released.
The drill bit makes

Action to be taken
▶ Release the control
switch. Allow the
combihammer to cool
down.
Press the
control switch again.
Reduce the load on
the tool.
▶ Switch the combiham-
mer off immediately.
Remove the battery
and keep it under
observation. Allow it
to cool down. Contact
Hilti service.
▶ Select a tool that
is suitable for the
intended purpose.
▶ Pull the tool lock back
as far as it will go and
remove the accessory
tool.
▶ Move the forward / re-
verse selector switch
to the "Forward" posi-
tion.
Action to be taken
▶ Push the battery in
until it engages with a
click.
▶ Change the battery
and charge the empty
battery.
▶ Bring the battery to
the recommended
working temperature.
▶ Change the battery
and charge the empty
battery.
