For local display
Problem
Local display dark and no output

Supply voltage does not match that
specified on the nameplate.
Supply voltage has incorrect polarity.
No contact between connecting cables
and terminals.
Terminals are not plugged into the
I/O electronics module correctly.
I/O electronics module is defective.
Display is set too bright or too dark.
Spiral cable of the display module is
not plugged in correctly.
Display module is defective.
Diagnostic event with "Alarm"
diagnostic behavior has occurred.
Incorrect operating language is

Apply the correct supply voltage

simultaneously pressing O + F.

simultaneously pressing S + F.

electronics module and display
module.

1. Press S + O for 2 s ("home
position").
2. Press F.
3. Set the desired language in the
Language parameter.
