Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Lint-free cloth
♦ Industrial vacuum cleaner, wet and dry vacuum cleaner
♦ Cleaning solution -D 009 401 04-
♦ Commercially available brush: approx. 15 mm wide and an‐
gled with workshop tools approx. 40°
♦ Special lubricant -N 052 567 GB- or spray -G 060 567 A2-
Noise and functional test
– Check the panorama tilting roof/sun roof for damage.
– Check the panorama tilting roof/sun roof for function, i.e.,
fully open and close the glass panel and shielding system
(sliding hood or sun blind for sun roof).
There must be no unusual noises, such as rattling, squeaking
or whining and no vibrations during these actions.
If noises or problems should occur during the functional test,
carry out the repair measure.
WARNING
Any defects found must be rectified (i.e. repaired).
