Let's go!
All you need is a standard home WiFi router with a broadband connection, a WiFi enabled device such as smartphone, tablet or PC and AURATON SMART devices to control.
To function AURATON PULSE requires a permanent Internet connection.
Take the Ethernet connector cable (supplied) and connect it to any spare available LAN port on your wireless router. Connect the other end of the cable to the AURATON PULSE single port.
Plug in the power supply and push the jack plug into the Micro USB connector on the back of the AURATON PULSE. Turn on the power supply. The green LED on the AURATON PULSE will illuminate to indicate that the Pulse has power and is ready to be set up from the AURATON SMART App.
The LED indicators are used to indicate the status of the Pulse and to indicate if there is a problem. If there is a problem reported, it will usually refer to an insecure cable connection or a server connection problem. If it has been set up correctly, the App will display details of any specific problem.
LED Indicator Lights
Steady green: Status normal
Flashing green: Transmitting
Flashing green / amber: Linking mode
Steady red: Cannot contact server
Flashing red: Cable / router problem
Once your AURATON PULSE is set up, you will be able to register multiple smartphones or tablets to control any number of AURATON devices in your home.
You can control AURATON devices whilst away from home using your app. You can also use timers and events to schedule devices to work automatically at times that you set in the app.
AURATON is very flexible, and you can add new AURATON devices to your system at any time. You can also add new friends and family members to your network by adding them using the app.
A single AURATON PULSE covers a typical large house and should outperform standard WiFi routers. To ensure the best performance, try not to position the gateway next to radiators, water tanks or very thick walls. Siting AURATON PULSE as high up as possible within your home (e.g. on the first floor) will always provide the best coverage.
Note: The following procedure permanently deletes all data, added devices and user accounts.
To restore factory settings of the AURATON PULSE gateway, please, do the following:

Old electrical appliances must not be disposed of together with residual waste, but have to be disposed of separately. The disposal at the communal collecting point via private persons is for free. The owner of old appliances is responsible to bring the appliances to these collecting points or to similar collection points. With this little personal effort, you contribute to recycle valuable raw materials and the treatment of toxic substances.
