To clean the optical connectors on the service cable:

Pull up on the fiber tray carriage and lower the fiber tray to expose the fiber connections as
illustrated in Figure 4-5.

Disconnect the service cable from the bulkhead adapter.

Carefully clean the optical connector using a suitable optical connector cleaning kit. If a
cleaning kit is not available, wipe the end of the connector using pure isopropyl alcohol
(99%) and a lint-free wipe. Dry it with filtered compressed air. You can also clean the
bulkhead adapter with the same compressed air.

Reconnect the service cable into the same bulkhead adapter from which it was removed. The
fiber tray is marked to assist you in making the proper connections.

Lift and insert the fiber tray into the fiber tray carriage. Push the fiber tray carriage into
the housing base until it snaps in place.
