Installing the Node

Installation procedures include:

Installing the housing on the strand

Installing the E-pack
S
Splicing the four-fiber service cable to the transportation fiber
S
Installing the pin-type connectors
S
Installing the coaxial and fiber cables
S
Closing the housing

Strand Wire Mounting

Two strand clamps and bolt assemblies are located on top of the housing for normal horizontal
mounting below the strand.
Figure 4-1 illustrates the rear view of the housing, strand clamps, and pedestal mounting holes:
