Press the ON/OFF/REF button 5 to switch the device on.

Hold down the ON/OFF/REF button 5 and the HOLD button 2
♦
at the same time until -1- appears on the LCD display 1.
Press the ON/OFF/REF button 5. -1- flashes on the LCD display 1.

The first calibration starts. After the first calibration is completed,
-2- appears on the LCD display 1.
♦
Turn the device by 180° in the same position.
Press the ON/OFF/REF button 5. -2- flashes on the LCD display 1.
♦
The second calibration starts. After the second calibration is com-
pleted, -2- disappears and the most recent measurement mode is
shown on the LCD display 1.
