CONDITIONING PLANTS
3.1 - SEA WATER PUMP
The sea water pump is needed to circulate the given water quantity through the refrigerant sea water exchanger. The sea water pump should also be
quiet, continous duty rated, grade marine construction material.
3.2 - LOCATION
3.2 - A
0,5 mt
The pump should be installed with the sheft in horizontal
position and the water outlet on the top or at least 50 cm
below the floating level.
3.2 - C
strainer and pump intake should be connected without
siphoning; the piping should always rise from the water
intake until the pump intake.
3.3 - INSTALLATION
The pump should be fastened with adequate screws
using the holes in its base. Original quiet and
smooth running can be improved by using a silent
block mounting.
