AIR FILTER SYSTEM

Service Specifications
Air cleaner cap interval .............................................................................. As required
Air filter element service interval
Primary (Outer) Element ...... Service the element if the air filter indicator lamp
Secondary (Inner) Element ............ Replace the element after the primary (outer)
The shelf life of a new air cleaner element is five years. DO NOT install a new
element that is more than four years old. The date of manufacture is on the end
cap of the element.

This cap removes coarse particles from
the air entering the air intake pipe.

illuminated with the engine running. Also,
replace the element every 2000 hours or each

c omp re ss ed a ir. To c l ean oi l an d
grease from the cap, wash the cap in
hot water with a s mall amount of
detergent.
