SETTING FUNCTIONS
The SETTINGS menu gives you the follow-
ing choices:
❍ Register a mobile phone
❍ Manage user data
❍ Advanced options.
To operate within the SETTINGS menu when
the car is stationary, you can use either the
steering wheel controls or voice commands.
When the car is moving, you can use only
voice commands. Instructions for both meth-
ods follow.
If you have difficulties using the
Blue&Me™, settings functions, see the
TROUBLESHOOTING section.

REGISTERING
A MOBILE PHONE
In order to use your mobile phone with the
vehicle's hands-free function, it must be reg-
istered.
During the registration process, the hands-
free system searches for a phone with
Bluetooth
®
technology in its reception
range. If it finds one, it establishes a con-
nection with it by using a Personal Identifi-
cation Number (PIN). After you have regis-
tered your mobile phone on the system, you
can use it with the hands-free system.
IMPORTANT The PIN code used for register-
ing a mobile phone is produced randomly
by the system each time a new phone is reg-
istered, therefore it does not have to be
memorised and if it is mislaid it will not af-
fect the use of the hands-free system.
The procedure for registering your mobile
phone only has to be carried out once; af-
terwards Blue&Me™ will automatically
connect to your phone each time you get in-
to the car and turn the ignition key to the
MAR position.
You can register your mobile phone using
the REGISTRATION option in the SETTINGS
menu.

To perform the registration manually, pro-
ceed as follows:
Activate the Main Menu by pressing
ß
/MENU and select the Settings op-
tion by pressing
SRC/OK or
ß
/MENU.
Select the option Registration and then
ß
press SRC/OK or
/MENU. The
system begins the registration process.
The system displays the PIN code nec-
essary for registering the mobile phone
on the instrument panel and repeats it
out loud. It is important to know that
this PIN is used only for registering the
mobile phone; it is not your SIM card
PIN.

your mobile phone manual for how to
register and connect with Bluetooth
devices.
