Call a contact in your phone
book
To use this mode, you need to register your
phone and copy your contacts across to the
system.

To call someone from your phone book
using manual controls, proceed as fol-
lows:
Activate the Main Menu by pressing
ß
/MENU.
Select the option PHONE BOOK and then
press SRC/OK or
Press N or O to select the alphabeti-
cal group to which the name of the per-
son to contact belongs, press SRC/OK
ß

/MENU and then select the de-
sired name.
If there is only one phone number for
the person you wish to contact, press
ß
SRC/OK or
/MENU to make the
call.
If there are several phone numbers for
the person you wish to contact, press
ß
SRC/OK or
/MENU to access the
different contact numbers, then select
the one you wish to contact using N
or O and press SRC/OK or
ß
/MENU to make the call.
To end the call, press
more than one second.

Imagine you want to call someone
named "Mark" in your mobile phone
contacts.
Press
Mark mobile" (in the voice command,
the word "mobile" represents the spe-
cific number you wish to call. You can
also use the words "home", "work" or
"other").
If the name is recognised, the system
will display the information relating to
ß
/MENU.
the name (Mark, in this instance).
If the person to contact has only one
phone number, the hands-free system
will ask you if you want call it. To make
the call, say "Yes", otherwise say "No".
If the person to contact has more than one
phone number, the system will ask what
kind of phone number to dial (for exam-
ple, "Call Mark work or home?"). In this
case respond by indicating the type of tele-
phone number desired (for example,
'Home').

If the person to contact (e.g. Mark) has
more than one telephone number with-
out an indication of the type of number,
the system will display the name and
a list of phone numbers.
If you want to call the number displayed,
say "Call".
If the name recognised by the system is
correct, but the number is not the one
you want, you can look at the other
phone numbers available from the list
on the display by using the Nor O but-
tons. When you have identified the num-
ß
ber you want, press
/MENU or
SRC/OK to make the call.

To end the call, press
/MENU for
more than one second.
Suggestion
When you call a contact with more than one
telephone number, also indicate the type of
number ("Home", "Work", "Mobile") you
wish to call in the voice command; in this
way, you can reduce the number of steps re-
quired to make the call.
