CAUTION
Do not connect the telephone cable to the LAN port.
To ensure proper network operations, use a twisted pair cable (category 5 or higher) less than 100 m in length.
Do not use the sleep or hibernation during communications (except when the Wake up from LAN function is in use), as
this may cause an error in data transmission or reception. The timeout function may engage even during data trans-
missions, causing the computer to automatically go into sleep or hibernation. When not using the Wake up from LAN
function, we recommend setting [Never] for [Put the computer to sleep:] and [Hibernate after]. (

Turn off your computer.
Do not use sleep or hibernation.

Connect the cable.

Connect the LAN port (A) and the network system (server, HUB, etc.) using a
LAN cable.

Turn on the computer.

Wake up from LAN Function
This is a function of the internal LAN to automatically resume the computer from a network server when the computer is in the
sleep or hibernation mode. To use this function, it is necessary to have a network environment that accommodates Wake up
from LAN. (The function is enabled in the default setting.)

(Start) - [Computer] - [System properties] - [Device Manager].
