Modicon 584, 884, and 984 Register, Input and Coil References
The Modicon PLCs listed above use decimal word addresses. The Operator Station format default is
BIN4. The following list contains the supported memory types.

Note:
The Modicon PLC model 984-785 allows six-digit addressing and holding/output register bit
writes.
Note:
Individual bit writes to the holding/output register are not allowed (except for the 984-785
PLC).
