20. Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation.
21. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a
heated oven.
22. Do not use Kettle without Lid properly closed.
23. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
24. Do not use Kettle with loose or weakened Handle.
25. If the Supply Cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
KitchenAid, it's authorized service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
26. Do not clean Kettle with cleaners, steel wool, or other abrasive
materials. To prevent damage to the appliance do not use
alkaline cleaning agents when cleaning; use a soft cloth and a
mild detergent.
27. CAUTION: Do not operate the Kettle on an inclined plane. Do
not operate the Kettle unless the element is fully immersed. Do
not move while the Kettle is switched on.
28. Scalding may occur if the Lid is removed during the brewing
cycle.
29. The Kettle should only be used to heat water.
30. Do not overfill Kettle. If the Kettle is overfilled, boiling water
may be ejected.
31. To disconnect, turn any control to off ( ), then remove plug
from wall outlet.
32. Unplug the appliance from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning.
33. Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or
taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
34. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section for instructions on
cleaning the surfaces in contact with food.
35. The Heating Element Surface is subject to residual heat after
use. Do not touch hot surface. Use handles.
